The Manitoba Company, Interlake Chemicals, has been served a <a "href="http://www.dfi.wa.gov/sd/orders/S-07-293-07-SC01.pdf">Notice of Intent To Issue an Order to Cease and Desist by the Department of Financial Institutions, in the State of Washington, for violations of the Business Opportunity Fraud Act of Washington.

According to the allegations, "Glen Stroud, Dan Hammond, and Interlake Chemicals International Ltd. Corp., and their agents and employees, have violated the Business Opportunity Fraud Act of Washington, RCW 19.110, and that their violations justify the entry of an order of the Securities Administrator under RCW 19.110.150 to cease and desist from such violation.

Dan Hammond, a salesman for Interlake Chemicals, has posted an odd little story about me at Ripoff Report.

1. Nobody is suing me for defamation or slander regarding the remarks I made about Glen Stroud and his previous involvement with Guy Paul Beaupre. The reason for this is the remarks are true: Glen Stroud was a salesman for Beaupre in all of his business opportunity business frauds that the RCMP charged Beaupre with.

2. I believe that Interlake Chemicals may have sold business opportunities to dealers in the United States without having either a disclosure document or being registered in the appropriate State as a business opportunity seller. I believe this because when talking to several people, none of them ever received a disclosure document although they were legally entitled to one.
